San Francisco is home to one of the largest homeless communities in the country. There are 511 people on the streets for every 100,000 residents in San Francisco, according to a recent report. This can be saddening to many people, especially when you first move to San Francisco. However, the positive news is The City by The Bay is full of generous and kind souls–including yourself. There are many ways to volunteer and help out the homeless. One way is by putting together a Blessing Bag.
